Once we formally begin our beautiful journey together, we build a foundation of trust, thoughtfully designed to support you through every stage of your birthing journey. My services include:
- Prenatal Visit(s): Personalized in-person meeting(s) to prepare you and your birthing partner, discuss your birth preferences, and build a trusting relationship + telephone/email support throughout your pregnancy up to 12 weeks postpartum.
- Education and Resources: I provide evidence-based information and resources to empower you with knowledge about pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care.
- 24 hour on-call availability for labor support -starting at 38 weeks.
- In-Person Birth Support: I offer continuous emotional, physical, and informational support during labor, helping you feel confident and advocating for your needs.
- Guidance after birth: I stay with you for up to two hours to help you settle into this new moment. I’ll guide you through what to expect in the early postpartum period, offer support with initial newborn feedings, and ensure you feel confident and cared for as you begin your journey as a new parent.
- Labor & Birth Photography if requested.
- Postpartum Visit: A follow-up visit to ensure you’re transitioning smoothly, address any concerns, and celebrate your new chapter.
As your birth doula, I guide you in optimizing fetal positioning for a smoother delivery, offer encouragement to empower you, and provide emotional support to you and your birthing partner. Together, we form a collaborative team, ensuring you feel heard, supported, and confident throughout your journey. I provide compassionate support to families of all dynamics, embracing every birthing journey. Whether you choose a medicated or unmedicated birth, hospital or out-of-hospital setting, or Cesarean delivery, I am here to guide and empower you with personalized care tailored to your unique needs.
